Clouds of misery have flown to my garden,
They do not pour and get lost amidst time,
They stay there to throw darkness in my heart,
A never ending storm in the ocean of mind.
Dawn never sheds light in my garden,
Flowers and fruit have become colourless,
Heart is growing paler every passing moment,
No one is there to understand despair.
Leaves have turned yellow, no sunshine is there,
The sky is clear in my village,
My garden it seems is haunted by the fears,
I dread of broken promises and dreams.
Dusk I try to evade, as forsaken I feel,
Mighty God has no cries, I wonder where he sleeps!
Often insomnia gives me a couch to sleep,
And I still await, someday Clouds of misery will fly.
